About the Presenter:
Dr. Wellik received a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine, CA and subsequently her M.D. from the University of California Irvine, School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship at Yale University before doing residency in ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Wellik came to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami School of Medicine for a glaucoma fellowship and subsequently joined the full time faculty. She is currently an assitant professor of ophthalmology and director of glaucoma at the Plantation location of Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
