About the Presenter:
Dr Kirk graduated from the University of Edinburgh School of Medicine in 2010 and currently works at Ayr Hospital in the West of Scotland. In 2010 he undertook an ophthalmology elective at CCBRT hospital in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania where he adapted a parent-administered questionnaire for use as a diagnostic screening tool for cortical visual impairment in children. His other research work includes developing infrared eye tracker software in the automated measurement of paediatric strabismus at the University of Edinburgh.
