About the Presenter:
The main author graduated from Boston University with a BA in biology and math. Subsequently, she attended UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson in Piscataway, NJ for medical school. She completed a residency in ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY and a fellowship in cornea, refractive surgery and external disease at the Wilmer eye institute of Johns Hopkins. After a number of years in private practice in North Dakota, she now practices at Georgetown University hospital in Washington, DC. The emphasis of her clinical practice is cornea, external disease and anterior segment surgery. She has a research interest in the interaction between systemic disease and eye disorders.
